Trinity College

Trinity College, Ireland’s oldest university, counts famous people like Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde among its alumni. Queen Elizabeth I founded the school in 1592 and the campus is a beautiful place to walk through, with grand old buildings and cobbled squares. One of the premier attractions is the Book of Kells exhibit, showcasing one of the oldest books in the world, dating back to the 9th century. The display also features several illuminated manuscripts retrieved from ancient monasteries.
