Getting into Town

Taxi: Taxis are available.

Limousine: City Lights Limousine (tel: 916 786 9292) can take between one and six people to all areas of Sacramento for a flat rate. SuperShuttle provides an on-call service to Sacramento and other counties. Vans can be reserved for travel to outlying areas (see the airport’s Web site for details).

Bus: Yolobus (tel: 530 666 2877) provides a public bus service on the intercity bus route no.42 to central Sacramento, Davis and Woodland.

Car Parking

There are five parking lots with spaces for more than 12,000 cars at the airport, including hourly and daily lots for Terminals A and B and economy parking. The first half-hour of hourly parking is free. Further airport parking information is available (tel: 916 874 0670).

Information Desks

Ground transportation information booths are located in Terminal A and between Terminals B1 and B2. Hotel information boards are in all terminals. Recorded information is available (tel: 916 874 0700). Travelers Aid kiosks can be found in Terminal A and Terminal B1.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: ATMs are located throughout the airport. There is a full-service post office on Lindbergh Drive, outside the terminal complex.

Eating and drinking: Eating facilities include a pizza restaurant, a bar, fast-food outlets, coffee shops, a Chinese restaurant, a delicatessen and a bakery. There is a food court situated between Terminal B1 and B2.

Shopping: Shops at the airport include a sunglasses shop, a travel goods shop, a bookshop, a newsstand and gift shops.

Luggage: There is a lost and found service (tel: 916 874 0701)

Other facilities: An emergency-only medical service is available by dialing 911 on the white courtesy telephones. There are children’s play areas in Terminal A.

Airport Hotels

The Host International Hotel (tel: 916 922 8071; Web site: www.hostairporthotel.com/) is the only airport hotel on site. The Homestead Studio Suites Hotel - Sacramento (tel: 916 564 7500), Residence Inn South Natomas (tel: 916 649 1300) and Hilton Garden Inn (tel: 916 568 5400) are all a short drive from the airport. Courtesy shuttles run to many local hotels; information and reservations are available at the courtesy telephone centers in the baggage reclaim areas of each terminal.

Airport Disabled Facilities

The airport is fully accessible to disabled travelers. For wheelchair assistance, contact the airline or dial 00 on a white courtesy phone. Skycap porters can provide wheelchair assistance free of charge. There are several TTY phones located throughout the airport. Designated car parking spaces are available for disabled travelers (tel: 916 874 0681). All airport shuttle buses are lift-equipped. Lift-equipped transportation to/from the airport is available. Avis, Budget, Hertz and National offer vehicles for travelers with disabilities (vehicles must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance).

Directions

The airport is located on Airport Boulevard, off the I-5. Driving west to the airport on I-80, or on I-50, follow signs to I-5 North and take the airport exit. Driving east to the airport on I-80, follow signs to I-5 North and take the airport exit.

Car Rentals

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National all serve the airport. A shuttle ferry passengers to and from the car rental building. Senator Ford offers a pick-up service from the car hire building to its off-site office.
