Tenerife South Reina Sofia Airport is one of two airports on Tenerife. It is located in the south of the island. The other airport on the Canary Island is Tenerife North. Taxi: Taxis are available to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (journey time: 60 minutes) from in front of Arrivals.
Bus: Buses leave regularly from the airport on three routes. Bus no.341 runs to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Marítima. Bus no.340 runs to North Tenerife Airport (for inter-island flights) and Puerto de la Cruz. Bus no.487 runs to Los Cristianos (for ferries to La Palma and La Gomera) and Playa de Las Americas. Buses depart from outside Arrivals.

There are more than 1,000 spaces for cars and buses at the airport; 58 of the parking spaces are free for a 15-minute maximum stay. Short- and long-term parking is situated just across the road from the terminal building, by the bus and taxi stops.

Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, bars, cafeterias and fast-food outlets before and after security.
Shopping: Shops include a bookshop/newsstands, gift shop, accessories, jewelry, fashion, music, toys and florists.
Luggage: A lost property service is available at the information desk.
Other facilities: There are travel agencies, a chapel and a police station, a pharmacy and a medical center open around the clock.

The airport is wheelchair-accessible and there are elevators to take passengers to the upper level. Telephones, restaurants and toilets are all physically accessible and facilities to assist disabled passengers from the aircraft to the terminal are available. Disabled travelers are advised to notify their airline of any special requirements at least 72 hours before departure.
