Taxi: Taxi services to central Hamburg are readily available. A door-to-door shuttle service is offered by TravelPorter (tel: +49 (180) 507 5286; Web site: www.travelporter.de) to destinations within Hamburg and further afield.
Limousine: A limousine service is operated by STARSLimousinen-Service (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 3540).
Bus: Many bus services run to the city center and other points around Hamburg, and the night bus no. 606 stops at the main railway station. Rail: The 101Airport Express runs bus services from Terminals 1 and 4 to the nearby Ohlsdorf U-Bahn/S-Bahn station for connections to the S-Bahn S1 and S11 and U-Bahn U1 to the main railway station and the city center (Jungfernsteig).
Rail:A new S-Bahn rail link between the airport and the city center is due for completion in 2008.

Parking is available in parking lots P1, P2, P4, P6 and P7. Lot P6 is a long-term lot linked to all terminals by a free shuttle bus. Valet parking is available in lot P5 (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 1011). Information on parking at the airport is available (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 3303).

Money and communications: Facilities include a bank, bureau de change and post office, ATMs, and wireless Internet.
Eating and drinking: There are many restaurants, bars and cafés at the airport; most are located on levels 0 and 3 of Terminal 2, and on the pier.
Shopping: There is a variety of shops, including duty-free, in Terminals 2. A brand new shopping plaza is under construction between the two terminals. It should open in 2008.
Luggage: A porter service is available and advance reservations can be made (tel: (0)40 5075 2010; e-mail: porter@secuserve-ham.de). Trolleys are available for a small deposit. There is a left-luggage facility in the Terminal 2 Arrivals area, while lost property is handled by the Airport Office. Other facilities: The airport has a pharmacy and first aid facilities at the medical center in Terminal 2.

The Airport Hotel (tel: +49 (0)40 531 020) is on-site, while the Dorint Hotel (tel: +49 (0)40 532 090) and Best Western Alsterkrug Hotel (tel: +49 (0)40 513 030) are located nearby. Hotel reservations can be made at the Airport Office. There are plans for a deluxe hotel, built opposite the terminals, to open in 2008.

Disabled travelers are asked to notify their airline and the airport information desk (tel: +49 (0)40 50750) of their needs, prior to travel. The airport is accessible to wheelchairs and disabled toilets can be found throughout. Disabled parking is available. A door-to-door transfer service, wheelchairs, and assistance is offered by DRK Mediservice (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 3353).

The Airport Office can provide business services including fax, photocopying and typing. The Airport Conference Center (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 2500) provides seven conference venues, accommodating up to 90 delegates, with audiovisual and other equipment for rent. The Hanseatic Conference and Banqueting Center (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 3338) provides 14 meeting rooms of various sizes, as well as business services such as telephone, fax, photocopying and translation, and equipment rental. Executive lounges are located on level 2 of Terminal 2. A VIP service is also available; reservations must be made 24 hours in advance (tel: +49 (0)40 5075 2012).
