Getting into Town

Taxi: Taxi stands are located in front of the Arrivals hall, both on the French and Swiss side. The main companies on the Swiss side are Taxi Zentrale (tel: +41 (0)612 222 222) and 33 Taxi (tel: +46 (0)613 333 333). The main taxis on the French side include EuroAir Taxi (tel: +33 (0)3 8970 0282), Taxi Marti (tel: +33 (0)3 8969 7300) and Taxis des 3 Frontières (tel: +33 (0)3 8970 0028).

Bus: BVB bus no.30 and Air Line bus no.50 run a service to Basel. Buses also serve the SNCF railway station in Mulhouse. Südbaden Bus SBG operates a bus service between the airport and Freiburg.

Car Parking

The north multi-level parking lot F1 is located on the French side; lots F1 and F2 are in the immediate vicinity of the airport building. Other public parking lots on the French side are F3, F5 and F6 (long-term parking rates are available in F5 and F6). The south multi-level parking lot S1 is on the Swiss side; S1 and S2 are in the immediate vicinity of the airport building. Another public parking lot on the Swiss side is S3, which is used for long-term parking.

Airport information (tel: +33 (0)3 8990 2511 / 2512 in France and +41 (0)613 252 511 / 515 in Switzerland) is situated in the Arrivals hall, on the second floor, between the French and Swiss sides of the airport.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There is a bank, ATMs and a bureau de change, which is open 24 hours.

Eating and drinking: There is a restaurant on the fifth floor, serving both sectors; bars and snack bars are located on levels 2, 3 and 4.

Shopping: There are several duty-free shops in the International Terminal.

Luggage: There is no baggage storage service at the airport.

Airport Hotels

The closest hotels to the airport are located on the French side and include the Hotel Jenny (tel: +33 (0)3 8968 5009), Hotel Formule 1 (tel: +33 (0)3 8967 6830), Hotel Captain (tel: +33 (0)3 8968 8282) and Hotel Albion (tel: +33 (0)3 8968 3646). There is a shuttle bus between the airport, Hotel Captain and Hotel Jenny.

Airport Disabled Facilities

Two companies, CGS and Penauille, are in charge of disabled facilities at the airport. They provide wheelchairs and also transport passengers to/from aircraft in courtesy vehicles. Disabled toilets, elevators and lowered public telephones are all available.

Conference rooms (tel: +33 (0)3 8990 2511 in France and +41 (0)613 252 511 in Switzerland) can be rented for between 1-18 and 20-50 people. They are equipped with television, video recorder, overhead projector and slide projector.

Directions

EuroAirport lies just inside Switzerland's borders with France and Germany on French soil, connected to Switzerland by a customs road, and is shared with Mulhouse, France and the German city of Freiburg. The airport can be reached from the A35 motorway from Mulhouse and Basel or from the Flughafen Strasse airport road from Basel.

Car Rentals

Autopole, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National Citer and Sixt all have offices on the second floor of both sectors, except Autopole, which is situated on the first floor.
