The two-terminal airport serves the city of Naples and also proves a useful arrival point for cities in the South of Italy. Traffic at the airport has increased rapidly in recent years, growing 25 percent since 1999 to about five million passengers in 2006. There are six parking lots at the airport with a total of 1,252 spaces. The parking lots are located along the main entry road to the airport. P1 is for long-term parking and P3, P2, P4 and P6 provide short-term parking. P5 offers a valet parking service from Quick No Problem Parking (tel: +39 (0)81 789 6366).

Money and communications: A bank and a post office are located on the right-hand side of Terminal 1, very close to the terminal building. ATMs are located in the Arrivals and Departures areas of Terminal 1. There are bureau de change in both Departures and Arrivals. Four Internet points are available on the first floor and in the Departures lounge, equipped with monitors, keyboards and webcams.
Eating and drinking: There is a selection of restaurants, bars, cafés and snack bars at the airport.
Shopping: Shops are concentrated in the Galleria Napoli, on the first floor of Terminal 1. There is a duty-free shop in the Departures lounge. The Sunstore newsstand and gift shop is located in the check-in area.
Luggage: Trolleys are available throughout. A 24-hour lost property service (tel: +39 (0)81 789 6766) is available.
Other facilities: A Red Cross medical center is located in Arrivals, with medical assistance available daily 24 hours.

The Charming International Hotel (tel: +39 (0)81 231 1004) is located very close to the airport and can be reached on foot or with the hotel shuttle. The three-star Millennium Hotel (tel: +39 (0)81 595 5406) is also located very close to the airport, on viale Maddalena, and can be reached on foot or by bus. The four-star Holiday Inn Napoli (tel: +39 (0)81 225 0111) is located 1 mile from the airport and can be reached using the complimentary shuttle bus provided by the hotel.

The airport is well-equipped for disabled travelers with elevators, ramps and pavements that have been widened to accommodate wheelchairs. There is also a pedestrian crossing with sound signals for visually impaired passengers. Two call buttons outside the airport enable those needing assistance to contact a staff member and there are help points within the terminals. Disabled passengers should inform their airline of any special needs prior to travel. Disabled parking is available close to the terminal.

The Telelink Internet Centre (tel: 081 789 6749) is situated on the first floor and offers a wide range of services including Internet, PC with Office, photocopying, scanning, telephone and fax facilities, and videoconferencing. Meeting rooms are available on request (tel: 081 789 6259), with equipment, catering and a variety of executive services available. There are also several VIP lounges.
