Getting into Town

Shuttle: Kentucky Sky Shuttle (tel: +1 606 379 0111) serves the cities of Somerset, Science Hill, Eubank, Waynesburg, Stanford and Danville. Many local hotels provide shuttle service to and from Blue Grass Airport. Direct-line courtesy telephones to the hotels are located next to baggage claim.

Car Parking

Visitors and passengers can choose from short-term, long-term, economy and valet parking. Parking for individuals with disabilities can be found in each parking facility. Short- and long-term parking is available both in the parking garage and on surface lots. There is a cell-phone waiting lot near the terminal.

Information Desks

It provides general airport and flight information, paging services, travel assistance, notary services, postage stamps and fax and copy services. In addition, printed materials such as flight guides, airport newsletters, foreign language guides and Wi-Fi Internet brochures are available.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There are two ATMs at the airport, one by the main entrance on the first floor of the terminal and the second in a restaurant on the second level. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the terminal. A post box is located outside the terminal entrance for all outgoing post. Postage stamps are available for purchase at the information center. FedEx and UPS drop boxes are located at the terminal entrance.

Eating and drinking:A café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner is located on the first level. On the second level (inside security) is a full-service bar and restaurant.

Shopping: Outlets offering a wide variety of magazines, newspapers, books, clothing, toiletries, snacks and souvenirs are situated on the first and second levels. There is also a shop selling frames, paintings and pictures.

Other facilities: There is a first aid office on the ground level. For first aid assistance, pick up one of the house phones. There are children's play areas in the lobby on the first level and by the airline gates on the second level.

Airport Disabled Facilities

The airport is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities and staff are on hand to assist. Lifts are located on each side of the airport terminal by the security checkpoint and baggage claim. There are also lifts in the parking garage. All lifts have Braille and raised numerals. All airport restrooms have an extra wide stall with side. A family/unisex restroom is also available. Skycaps are on hand to provide wheelchairs and additional assistance to and from the gates. A public TDD phone is available for the hearing-impaired on the first level of the terminal. Convenient parking spaces are reserved in all parking lots and the garage for those with disabilities. Most car rental agencies offer vehicles with hand controls if given 72 hours notice prior to arrival.

Airport Conference and Business Facilities

There is an executive lounge located in concourse B at the third level. It offers complimentary snacks and beverages, personal assistance from airport staff, flat-screen televisions, quiet computer workstations, photocopier, fax machine, telephones and state-of-the-art meeting and conference areas. Meeting facilities with modern audiovisual equipment such as video conferencing are available on the second and third level of the terminal. Directions

The airport is easily accessible from Highway-60 and is in close proximity to Blue Grass Parkway and I-75 and I-64. Coming from the west on I-64, turn right at exit 58 and go along Highway-60. Then turn onto Man-o-War Boulevard and go straight to the airport. Coming from the east on I-64 or I-75, take exit 115 on to Newtown Pike and go to New Circle Road (Route 4). Follow New Circle Road west to Versailles Road (Highway-60). Take Versailles Road west to Man-O-War Boulevard. Enter the airport via Terminal Drive.

Car Rentals

Car rental service counters are located in the baggage claim area on the first level of the terminal. The hire car facility is located next to the terminal. Avis, Enterprise, Hertz and National are represented at the airport.
