Birmingham International is the sixth-busiest airport in the UK and the second-busiest for business traffic outside London. More than 50 airlines fly from BHX to more than 100 destinations worldwide. Rail: The free Skyrail service links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station. A network of regional and intercity rail services depart from there, including a Virgin service to London Euston. Taxi: Black cabs (tel: +44 (0)121 782 3744) carry up to five people with luggage.
Bus: Local buses link the airport to the surrounding district. All buses stop outside the terminals. For timetable and fare information, call Traveline (tel: +44 (0)870 608 2608).
Coach: National Express (tel: +44 (0)8705 808 080; Web site: www.nationalexpress.com) operates long-distance coach services, linking the airport to Birmingham and a number of other cities, and provides inter-airport Flightlink (tel: +44 (0)8705 757 747) coaches linking the airport with London Luton, London Gatwick and London Stansted airport.

Money and communications: Bureau de change and ATMs are available in both terminals. Postal facilities are available in Terminal 1.
Eating and drinking: There is an extensive range of cafés, restaurants, bars and fast-food outlets both airside and landside.
Shopping: There are several retail shops at the airport.

Other facilities: There are 24-hour medical centers in both terminals and a prayer room.
