Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH):www.aia.gr is located 20 miles southeast of Athens.
To / from the airport: The airport is linked to Athens Central Railway Station (Larissis) and the port of Piraeus by the Suburban Rail system. Several bus routes connect the airport with Athens and Piraeus daily, 24 hours. Some connect with the metro. Taxis leave from outside the Arrivals level of the Main Terminal Building.
Facilities: Money and communications: There are banks, ATMs and bureau de change. Post offices are located in both the International and the Domestic terminals. Eating and drinking: There are 24-hour restaurants, snack bars, cafés, fast-food and bars. Shopping: There is 24-hour shopping at the airport, including an authentic Bazaar and duty-free shopping in the International Terminal. Other facilities: These include first aid, a 24-hour pharmacy, baby-care rooms and a children's play room.
