Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is the gateway to Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, and the remote lands beyond. Taxi: Taxis are available at each terminal. At the South Terminal, the taxi stand is at the ground transportation island, which can be reached via the underground transportation hall or via the pavement outside baggage claim. At the North Terminal, the taxi stand is located directly outside the Arrivals hall.
Bus: The Municipality of Anchorage People Mover bus (airport route no.7) runs between the airport and downtown Anchorage and the Diamond Center. A door-to-door shuttle service is offered by Eagle River Shuttle (tel: 907 694 8888), Shuttle Man (tel: 907 677 8537) and Talkeetna Shuttle (tel: +1 888 288 6008).

Short-term car parking is available at both terminals; there is a multi-story parking garage at the South Terminal. Long-term parking is available in close proximity to the South Terminal. Parking information is available from APCOA/Standard (tel: 904 243 1532), which also offers a parking service.

Money and communications: There is a bureau de change, ATMs, a post office and a bank.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants and bars located in both terminals.
Shopping: Shops include duty-free, located in the North (international) Terminal.
Luggage: There is a lost property office located on the Departures (upper) level of the South (domestic) Terminal (tel: 907 266 2623) and a baggage storage facility, also in the South (domestic) Terminal of the Airport on the lower (Arrivals) level opposite baggage reclaim.
Other facilities: The Alaska Native Medical Center has a desk in the South Terminal. There is also a barber shop.

The Millennium Alaskan Hotel (tel: 907 243 2300) and Westcoast International Inn (tel: 907 243 2233) are situated 1 mile from the airport. The Anchorage Courtyard (tel: 907 245 0322) is situated 2 miles from the airport and eight minutes from the center of Anchorage. Courtesy airport shuttles operate to many hotels in the area; this service can be arranged via the telephone information boards in the baggage reclaim area.

The airport is fully equipped for disabled passengers. Wheelchairs and assistance are available and passengers should contact their airline.

There are no business or conference facilities at the airport. The nearby Millennium Alaskan Hotel (tel: 907 243 2300) has seven meeting rooms, audiovisual equipment, and fax and photocopying facilities.
