Infants under the age of two years fly for 50 per cent of the adult rate when accompanied by an adult over 12 years. Youth fares are available for those ages two to 21. Tickets must be bought 14 days in advance and must include a Saturday night stopover. Tickets are non-refundable.

Pets

Small dogs are allowed to travel in the cabin in a soft-sided pet carrier for a cost of $100 each way. For a fee of $75 each way, you can check pets in to the hold. You need a certificate of health from a veterinarian that has been issued within 10 days of the travel date. Certificates normally expire in 30 days, so if you're traveling for longer than this you'll need one for the return journey as well. You must reserve your pet travel by calling the reservation number. Snub-nosed dogs and cats (such as Chow Chows, pugs or Siamese cats) will only be carried if the temperature is not expected to exceed 75 F (24 C) at any point in the journey.

Airline Food Link

There’s nothing like heading up in the skies to work up an appetite. Check out the airline’s menu before you fly so you can decide if you need to bring any extras. Sample menus can be read online at Midwest's Web site; or see photographs taken by fellow flyers of meals they’ve been served and read reviews at AirlineMeals.net

In-flight Magazine

Moby Dick, War and Peace, Leaves of Grass… Do you need to pack a weighty tome or will the in-flight magazine keep you happily occupied for the duration of the flight? The airline's magazine is called MyMidwest and is available on all flights. Read a preview online.
