Airline Overview
UK charter Thomas Cook Airlines is based in Manchester, UK and provides charter flights to holiday resorts in the Mediterranean, Florida and Canada. Created as JMC Airlines, it was renamed Thomas Cook Airlines after it was purchased by travel agency Thomas Cook in March 2003.
Check-in desk closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure, apart from flights to Orlando Sanford, when desks close 75 minutes before departure.

Carry-on: Must not exceed 11lbs in weight or 17 x 11 x 9in in size.
Checked: Weight allowance varies by destination, but is between is 32lbs and 63lbs. Details will be available on your ticket
Excess: Excess baggage can be pre-booked online. For short-haul flights the cost is £25 ($50) for an extra 5kg; for long-haul flights it is £35 ($70) for an extra 5kg. No excess baggage can be booked on any flights to Canada.

The seat pitch varies dependent on the destination and cabin. Seat pitches can be anything from 28 inches to 35 inches.

Seats can be booked until seven days before the departure of the flight. There is a cost of £20 ($40) return for short-haul routes and £30 ($60) return for long-haul routes.

Changes can be made online or by telephone. Flight date, time or route changes can be made up to 4 days prior to the departure of the first sector of journey (apart from scheduled flights including Canada), subject to availability, amendment fee and any applicable fare difference.

Traveling infants under two years of age do not need a seat. A fee from $20, per infant, per sector is charged.

Dogs and cats weighing less than 6kg can be carried in the cabin free of charge. Animals weighing more must be carried in the hold.
