Airline Overview
Aurigny Air Services is headquartered in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. ("Aurigny" is the Norman French name for Alderney, where the airline started.) The airline offers scheduled services to mainland Britain and Europe. Its main bases are the airports on the islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
Check in times vary by departure airport and destination. Check before you fly. The shortest time is 30 minutes, the longest is an hour.

Hand luggage: one piece is permitted per passenger, with maximum weight of 17lbs and maximum dimensions of 17 x 12 x 7 inches. The only exception are flights between Southampton and Alderney inter-island services, on which the maximum weight is 13lbs.
Checked: one item with a maximum weight of 44lbs, except for the Alderney-Southampton route, where maximum weight is 33lbs.
Excess: Excess baggage is charged at £1 per kg for the first 5kg, and then £5 per kg. No one bag weighing more than 62lbs will be accepted.

Ticket details can be changed, dependent on the ticket type purchased. For "lowest fare" tickets changes can be made up to two hours before scheduled departure for a fee of £20, plus any additional cost of the new ticket. For "lowest out flexible back" tickets changes to the outbound journey are as before; changes to the return journey can be made at any time within one year for no cost. For "flexible fare" tickets changes can be made at any time for no extra cost. All changes must be made by calling the reservation number (listed below).

Domestic pets are only permitted on flights between the islands and the Alderney-Southampton route. There is a maximum of two dogs per flight and they will be charged a child's fare. Cats can travel on a child's fare or in the hold at a cost of £1 per kg. Guide dogs can travel for free on any flight, except to Dinard. Complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee and biscuits are available on flights. There is also a bar from which alcoholic drinks may be purchased.
