Air South West Check-in
Air Southwest recommends that passengers check in at least one hour before the scheduled departure time. Check-in closes 20 minutes prior to departure for passengers with carry-ons only, and 30 minutes for passengers with checked bags. Passengers reporting for check-in less than 30 minutes (20 minutes if no bags are checked) prior to departure will be refused carriage and will forfeit their seats. No refund will be given.

Carry-on: One carry-on item is allowed, weighing less than 15lbs (7kg). Umbrellas, handbags and laptops may also be carried on board. Wheelchairs are carried free of charge..
Checked: Up to two items are allowed, with a maximum weight limit of 44lbs (20kg) . The total dimensions must not exceed 62in (158cm). Infants who share a seat do not have a baggage allowance, however a collapsible stroller will be accepted for carriage without charge.
Excess: Over-weight items are charged at $8 (£4) per kg, but the total weight cannot exceed 70lbs (32kg). Pre-arranged seating
All passengers will be assigned individual seat numbers when they check in at the airport and every effort will be made to ensure that families and parties are seated together, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Passenger change details
Flight routes can be changed for a fee of $40 (£20) plus the difference in price of the two tickets. If the second ticket price is lower, however, no refund is given. Changes can be made online up until the day before travel, or by telephone until two hours before travel.
Child fares
There is no charge for infants under two years of age not occupying a seat. All other children are charged standard fares.

The carriage of live animals, including pets, insects, reptiles, or any other form of livestock, is forbidden under any circumstances, with the exception of guide dogs for blind and/or deaf passengers on UK domestic flights only.
Carrying musical instruments
Musical instruments can be carried on board, subject to certain conditions. Smaller instruments can be carried as hand luggage as long as they do not exceed 15lbs (7kg) in weight and have dimensions equal to or less than 20in x 13in x 8in. Instruments being carried as checked-in luggage should not exceed a length x height x width total of 62in. It is possible to purchase an additional seat for larger instruments. Instruments will be carried on the seat nearest the window and will be secured there for the duration of the flight.
In-flight service
Light snacks and a range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages may be purchased on board Air Southwest flights. Please note that the only alcohol permitted to be consumed on board is that which has been purchased from the cabin crew.
