Aer Arann Check-in
Aer Arann recommends that passengers check in one hour prior to their scheduled departure. The check-in desk closes 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Check-in closes at Sligo, Donegal and Knock Airports 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
Check-in at Manchester airport opens one hour and 30 minutes prior to departure time.
Passengers can check-in online from 72 hours up to three hours prior to flight departure on www.aerarann.com for all flights with the exceptions of flights from Sligo and Donegal to Dublin and Donegal to Glasgow as well as all flights from Waterford, London Southend and Lorient.
M-ticket: Thanks to the Aer Arann SMS Itinerary service, M-ticket, you can now bring your mobile phone with the SMS containing your flight details direct to the Aer Arann check-in desk. No more last minute printing and clutter with paper itineraries.
Aer Arann baggage allowance
Carry-on: One item of carry-on baggage is permitted per passenger, which must not weigh more than 15lbs (7kg) and must not measure more than 8 x 11 x 17in (20 x 28 x 43cm). Passengers should carry all medication in their carry-on baggage.
Checked: 44lbs (20kg) per passenger on all flights. The maximum total weight for any one piece of checked baggage is 70lbs (32kg).
Stroller/ Buggy Allowance: One item per infant booked
Excess: There is a fee for excess baggage of €5 ($7) per kg. The maximum total weight for any one piece of checked baggage is 32kg. Excess baggage will only be accepted if there is space on the plane.

None. Seats are selected and assigned at check-in.
Passenger change details
Flight dates and time changes are allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Changes can be made by calling the reservations line (number above), at the departure airport or online. There is a change fee of €25 ($33) for domestic and UK flights per person per change transaction, plus any difference in the cost of the new flight. If the new flight costs less than the original flight, no refund will be given. Route changes and name changes can be made up to 30 minutes before the check-in desks close for the outbound departure, either at the airport or at the reservations line (number below). A fee of €25 ($33) applies for route changes, plus any difference in flight cost. A fee of €40 ($54) applies for name changes.
Child fares
Infants less than two years of age may fly seated on an adult’s lap for a fee of €10 ($14) each way.
Aer Arann will not accept unaccompanied children less than 12 years of age for travel on scheduled services. Children under 12 years of age cannot travel unless accompanied by a person of 16 years of age or older, who will take full responsibility for the child. Aer Arann will accept passengers aged 12-16 inclusive traveling alone but will not provide special assistance for these passengers.

Aer Arann carries domestic pets only. Aer Arann will only agree to do so on your acknowledgement that there may be risks to the health or welfare of your animal or pet which may be caused by the reaction of your animal or pets to flying. Your acknowledgement of this is confirmed by booking and presenting your animal or pet for a flight. Carriage of animals or pets is only permitted on Ireland domestic and on UK flights to and from Ireland. Carriage of animals is on a “space available” basis only.
Guide dogs will be carried in the passenger cabin free of charge.
Carrying musical instruments
Large, delicate musical instruments that exceed carry-on item dimensions can be carried in a seat if it has been reserved and paid for. All musical Instruments are carried at your own risk for loss, damage, or delay. You should ensure that you have suitable private insurance coverage for your journey.

Air miles
Silver Club is the travel rewards program of Aer Arann. Unlike traditional frequent flyer programs, there are no points, miles or kilometers to earn and it is an invitation-only program. Benefits of Silver Club include airport lounge access in Dublin, no change fees, an increase in baggage allowance to 25 kilograms (55 lb), preferred seat selection and a dedicated free phone number.

The pay bar menu will be served on board all Aer Arann scheduled flights. They accept both Euro and Sterling on all flights, however at present they cannot accept Sterling coins smaller than 10p.
