It was a good flight. The crew were very nice. The delay in the takeoff was not JetBlue’s fault. However, the choice of snacks needs to change. Whatever happened to Animal Crackers or Popcorners, chocolate chip cookies, etc. The old choices were better. The deplaning process is always a mess. I wish JetBlue could fix it.

The primary airport for the Ponce region is Mercedita International Airport (PSE). It can be found approximately three miles (around 4.8 kilometers) from the city’s central business district. If you are unable to find a flight that works for your schedule and arrives at PSE, you can choose to fly to another nearby airport, such as Eugenio María de Hostos Airport (MAZ). This transportation hub can be found approximately 51 miles (around 82 kilometers) from Ponce.
U.S. citizens do not need a visa to travel to Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States and is treated as a domestic destination. Travel between the mainland United States and Puerto Rico is similar to travel between any two U.S. states. U.S. citizens can travel freely to Ponce without a passport, although it is always recommended to carry a government-issued photo ID. However, it's essential to note that if you plan to continue your journey from Puerto Rico to another international destination, you may need a passport for that portion of your trip.
When you fly into Mercedita International Airport (PSE), you can always choose to rent a car once your plane has landed. While there are no car rental companies that currently have offices located directly at the airport, there are a few that offer free shuttle services to and from their off-site offices. One example of a company that does this is Thrifty. To benefit from this service, make sure to contact the rental car company directly in advance of your arrival.
